Meet Lisa King
A Passionate Advocate for the Arts
Lisa King is an artist and the creative mind behind Sketch Works.online. Her artistic journey began in childhood, at 8 years old when she saw an ad in the newspaper for a drawing contest. If you could draw the bunny rabbit, you would win a prize. She drew the rabbit very well, and mailed the picture in. The people from the contest said they liked the drawing a lot but, she was too young to enter. She's been drawing ever since.
Lisa has a lifelong dedication to the arts, from singing, to writing lyrics and Short stories, to sketching; all of which fuel her creativity and influence her works.
Today, Lisa is focused on promoting the importance of art. She hopes to someday secure funding that will provide resources and mentorship, which will ensure that the arts can continue to thrive in her community.
